COACHING & MENTORING

They are not the same thing

The two often interchange with one another but are two very different approaches.

When asked what is the difference… I use the following analogy, if you were driving a car… the person coaching will typically share their experiences, tips to unlock potential and how to get to the destination faster, more efficiently and challenge their client to see their options on how best to drive. Mentoring will use that same experience but apply that knowledge in a far more ‘this is the way you should drive best’.

Coaching and mentoring in business are increasingly becoming common-place, and are vital in being able to challenge yourself as a leader. I have personally been coached for 10-years and it’s the best investment I have ever made and my career success has been, in large parts, down to that support, challenge and thinking differently.

HOW WE CAN HELP YOU

My approach is truly adaptive and bespoke to your specific needs, to your challenges, to your objectives, to your aims.

I offer an initial free & zero-commitment 30-minute workshop so we can get to know one another better.

Coaching will bring you short and long-term benefits - I work in a very respectful manner and provide a fully confidential space so you can be your true self.

My approach uses my experiences to pose probing questions, to constructively challenge and to aid your clarity for your roadmap forward.

A safe, trusted space

Challenge some of your thinking processes - thinking sometimes of different approaches

I probe, I become curious, I ask questions with purpose

I listen, listen, listen with purpose

Each session the only focus is on you

I will hold you to account - it’s down to you to decide the next steps

I tailor my coaching approach dependent on what career stage you are at. Whether you are already the CEO or starting your leadership journey I can help and support your progression.

I work with many clients seeking to switch into a new role or even a new business sector. Coaching for me has made me more reflective, more robust, better prepared for the unexpected.

Team Coaching…

I also have a depth of experiences in coaching teams. I have been told how beneficial these sessions are. It allows an open, transparent review of team ethics, project approaches, cross (constructive) challenging. The end results being a clearer vision, a culture of collaboration and communication can be fostered and built upon for the team and it’s staff members.

It’s a great tool to drive mutual trust within teams, plan next year’s strategy, encouraging team members to think differently, identifying how innovation and forward-thinking can drive forward teams.
